It's very simple. Just download the app (indicated in the package), choose your favorite photo or design from your gallery, and tap "Send." NFC technology will do the rest in less than 5 seconds.

No. This is the best part. The case uses electronic ink (E-Ink) technology that requires only a minimal amount of energy during the one second it takes to change the image. Once projected, the image remains fixed without consuming any energy whatsoever.

Never. The case has no internal battery and doesn't need cables. It's powered by your phone's NFC connection only when you decide to update your design.
